we might wait for lidl, we have planned to check out their coolbox/ fridge, didn't realise they did toilets too. I most certainly will adopt husband empty toilet rule, I'd hate for him to feel at a loose end, many thanks, Margaret
Definitely interested in the Lidl port potti. Have got Lidl electric coolbox and it is excellent, gots loads in and it kept stuff cold for the 4 days we were away last time. Started off with 2 ice packs though for journey, and put frozen meat in too.

What light? I'm still looking for the tunnel.

Always worth keeping eye on eBay, I checked for about 3 months then found a kampa portaflush locally, got it for £20. Agree with only using for no 1's. Splash of discinfectant keeps lovely fresh smell.

Line whatever you decide to use with scented bin bag and use wood based cat litter, 3 or 4 handfuls, any moisture makes wood pellets swell and just smells like sawdust, tie bag in morning, put in rubbish. thats what we do and read that suggestion on here.
Homebargain sell large bag under £2. best Ive tried

On the main holidays with the big tent I have been using a bucket....No young kids to knock it over!!

Cleared out my old caravan earlier this year...And brought the porta potty from it so will take that this year....

For any male on their own where space in the car is a problem....I use two 1ltr wide necked bottles/containers during the night when backpacking....One is usually sufficient...Other is backup for when I am on the beer....Both can be carried discreetly to the loo and emptied in the morning....

Both clearly marked with P.E.E. on the side to save any mix up when filling my stove..........

Jelboy.
