Seen a handy tent which has been mentioned before as we need space ie cooking/ storage anyone with any knowledge about these? seems a cheaper option than a bigger tent and better than a tarp.

Not sure if you mean a utility tent or a larger day tent - these were the utility ones

There are a couple of threads

think the cheapest 2 were : outdoor revolution outhouse XL & the aztec (about £45)

this is my outdoor one

Kyham is around the same price but didn't have great reviews

then there is more expensive like the outwell red sea and the cabanon, but looking at over £100 for these

We've found the Wynnster Utility tent to be really good. Not expensive, quite big for a utility tent - we can cook inside it and still have room for two to sit comfortably at the same time (useful if you only take a small tent to sleep in), and with a full size mesh front inside the front door - so can roll up the front and still keep most of the flying beasties out. The side walls could do with a guyline attachment in middle though as they can flap noisily in high winds - cross-guying helps stop the fabric flapping.
