Now I know you all think tents have taken over my life  but now they are taking over my house!!!

Tonight I have a living/dining room that looks like this -

That is my Calais airing after a few days in the garden to 'test it out'.

And goodness knows where I'm going to sleep tonight! Here is my bedroom -

and another!

I couldn't even drape them over the bannisters as I've got the decorators in and today they have gloss painted the hall and landing!!!!!

I know I love my Cabanons but wonder who else would give up their bed for one  

I guess I'll be sleeping in the shed tonight

you could just put them back up in the garden and sleep in them tonight - that paint must really smell .!!! Mind you from previous posts you don't need an excuse. 

I'm glad its not just me - I donated three 6 berth lichfield frame tents to various good homes this summer and on checking my shed last weekend I still managed to count four tents and various sun canopys -this is beside my FC!!

Hahhaa, So i'm not the only one , my house often looked like that this year. the trouble started when we had our lovely big back garden landscaped into 3 tiers. It was sloping but it used to be big enough to pitch any of the tents on for drying out. I used to pitch my sisters tents too. The garden looks much nicer now , but theres nowhere to dry the tents.

 We even had photos on google earth with tents pitched, and when  they were updated they showed different tents and caravan outside too. Check yours out. I don't think google earth can keep up with all yours though, lol.

You've heard that experssion.."Always look after your tent..and your tent will look after you"I dont think Looking After includes tucking them up in bed...Was that a cup of chocolate I saw on the bedside table?? LOL!! Ah well Foster needs must I suppose..If they need airing/drying...they need airing/drying..wherever you can manage...Im just wondering what the decorators were thinking when they saw them...

Now the decorators - there's another story - it seems that one of them used to go camping a lot but his wife finally decided she wanted a caravan - he still has his old canvas frame tent in the loft...................I did tell him it might need an airing.....................he seemed quite keen to get rid of it............................no - I just haven't got the space!!!!!

Resist Foster Resist...Let the man keep his tent...you have enough already...

Well Anne, if it's a bargain then I don't see how you can refuse his very kind offer. One more little tent wouldn't be all that bad would it. You could buy it and give it to Ben as an extra Ch*****as pressie - then it wouldn't be for you so you wouldn't have to feel bad about buying it
