Hi. I have the Cabanon Noumea, which is identical to a Guadeloupe but smaller.
I haven't found any problem with the sleeping and living areas being separated only by a curtain. The bottom of the curtain does sit on the floor of the tent, and it must form a surprisingly good seal because there can be a quite noticeable difference in temperature between the two areas when you open the curtain up some mornings. As the fly of the tent is canvas the inner has been absolutely comfortable to sleep in every time for me and I haven't missed the double skin of a separate inner at all, but I think a canavs tent with an inner would be cosier on very cold nights.
The advantage of no inner is that during the day it is very simple to just roll the dividing curtain out of the way and increase your living space.
Hope that helps.
