I met a few last year on diff sites I went to,one man and he said is it tattoed on my back and was very friendly,(hope he is readind this post) but some others said they were members, but only for site reviews and had never posted, and were members of other forums just to see what was new,but were not all that interested in talking about thier travels or experiances
------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.

We've used a home printed flag, before now. Just printed off an A4 page, with our user names on, lamintated it, and hung it on the unit. Met a couple of other members who spotted it.
I did the UKCS National Meet at Bruces Cave a couple of years ago..Username on the TT and sticker on the car...It was brill...spotting a username..introducing myself..and finally putting a face to a username and having a chat face to face..I remember in particular meeting JulieR..while out walking the dog..we had had a bit of banter on some of the forums on here..We met..started chatting...both thought we had been talking for 10 mins...One and a half hours we were stood there???? Have always enjoyed any meets I've been on...and met loads of new people on each one...As for an ordinary camp...I just introduce myself to the neighbours around me and take it from there...Once met an old fella in his eighties..Who..on the death of his wife..had joined a canoing club...Hand built his Canadian canoe..Was on a trip down the river Ouse...Pitched up at our campsite...We started chatting...and had a great time in each others company...Gave him a hand to de camp next morning.... pushed him off on the next leg of his journey...Last I saw of him he was paddling merrily away down the river..as happy as a pig in muck..Great old guy!!!..I reckon there are some new friends to be made out there if we just make the effort to communicate to our neighbours on camp...

Hi
What I used was the pennant and the window sticker on the clear side panel this picture was taken in Skipton with Val's relations
But it also advertises the UKCS services to the campers who still have not been Enlightened
Regards
Rex.
Keely sorry to keep displaying your tent.

We had this recently, we went to have a look at the new Go Outdoors store in Bristol. We were looking at the portable toilets in the store & a lovely lady who was shopping there with her family kindly took the time to advise us on them.
When we got home, it hit me that she may have been a member of UKCS. I posted it on here & she replied. I really wished we'd had a longer conversation & introduced ourselves to her & her family. Small world.
