Reading these posts..leads me to beleive that you lot have serious problems coming to terms with the lack of camping over the winter months..I on the other hand have no such problems..The fact that a few weeks ago I erected my fishing bivvy.. placed my new carp fishing bed in it...set up my (new to me) double ring dual fuel stove and set up 3 rods on the rod pod while the kettle was boiling on the stove..has nothing to do with me wishing I was off fishing/camping..This was all done as a dry run for the real thing(when it comes) to see if anything needed adjusting or adding to..Preperation is everything..you cant just sally forth at the 1st hint of sunshine hoping everything will be OK and working..Yes Preperation thats what it was nothing else...harrrumph "Prepare ye the ways of the canvas..Make straight..the lumpy pitch site" thats my motto..The fact that sometimes as I prepare for sleep I pretend Im lying on my camp bed in my sleeping bag surronded by all my gear has nothing to do with an addiction..and all to do with Preperation..thats my story and Im sticking to it
