someone mentioned to join a camping/caravaning club to help when booking campsites. They said you only pay a deposit and if you can't get, wether bad weather or other reason. You don't have to pay!!!

Been on camping and caravaning one mut doesn't mention anything!!!

You're thinking of the Caravan Club. The Camping and Caravanning Club take a £25 deposit when you book, and if you have to cancel they hold your deposit for another time, but the Caravan Club don't take deposits at all.

There have been numerous debates, opinions and arguments about this before, if you go into search and type in the name of one of the clubs it'll come up with all the threads on this subject. Make yourself a brew and settle in for the night as you'll be in for a long read! lol

So if i join the caravan and camping club i only pay £25 deposit when i book thru them to stay at campsites!! Sure this is what my client told me today!!!

Only if you book to stay on a Camping & Caravanning Club site - any private or commercial sites are nothing to do with either of the clubs so they will have their own prices, some will charge a deposit some won't. There are some private sites which are affiliated to one or other of the two big clubs but they will still charge their own prices and deposits.
