I take for me and the kids wellies, crocs and trainers/walking shoes.

I have a collapsable crate by the door and cardboard. Cardboard is a godsend. It works much better than alot of gadget you buy. You never have to clean it and in very wet weather it also protects your entrances from becoming muddy pools. In extreme wet weather I change the cardboard after a day or 2 if its getting muddy!! It lasts surprisingly well. When 1st suggeste to me I thought it would go soggy after a few hours but no it really lasts well.

Its free as well. Everytime we pass a supermarket on our camping trip we pop in get some boxes.

After last summer we have bought a large canopy......apart from the added storage for wet stuff, it`ll stop the rain blowing into the tent door every time its opened

Obviously though......its going to be a long hot summer this year

  We have a lightweight rubber backed doormat for standing on while taking off wet muddy boots, then a bathmat and towel for drying same before putting slippers on.   Yes I know its a faff but keeps inside of tent clean.
