I normally have my first camping trip just after the clocks go back so that I get the light evenings but might do a trip early March this year.  I prefer camping early and late in the year because it's quiet. 

Had been intending to go riding in Purbeck last weekend in Feb and was going to camp but there's something wrong with my ears which is making me unstable on a horse so I'll have to give the riding a miss: sob!

Easter will be fine as long as you remember that it gets cold at night and equip yourselves accordingly.

I wish I'd bought the new backpacking tent I intend to buy last weekend so I could have tried it out in the backyard in the snow but perhaps it's just as well I didn't: the neighbours would have had me sectioned!

I got a new tent had go so excited I ended up putting it up in the local workingmans club hall had to check it you kow what I mean

its arrived my new addition to my tent collection im well happy, well i was until i realised i couldnt put it up as garden not big enough and 7 inches of snow outside so waiting for snow to go and then its a trip to the park for a pitch and view so cant wait to go camping bring it on i say
