Hi All

Been ages since I posted but having been reading your chat quite regularly. We are awaiting delivery of a Vango Colorado 800 DLX 2008 that we bought new for £180. OH has admired it from afar when we have been in our quite tired but sturdy Vango Aurora. ( We haven't told her yet so shhhhhhhhhh )

Anyway - I am now worried about the bathtub groundsheet , as the 2009 version has sewn in. Is it really that drafty as some of the reviews I've seen say it is ?

Kind regards

I'm not so shy now .Am colourful pyjama- wearing person who likes to say hello.

Minty - she's a girls best friend and Aurora and Colin keep us snug and warm.

any tent without sewn in groundsheet can be drafty.  however, there are always ways of bunging the drafty bits! we have an aztec without sig, but we have found that using windbreaks all the way round stopped most drafts and we used strips of tarp tucked under groundsheets to stop further drafts.  I am sure you will love your tent!

If it has mudflaps, tuck them inside the tent and lay your groundsheet over them and no draughts will get in.

Yup, that should do it. & in the heatwave this summer that we MUST be due, you can have a bit of ventilation.
