hi all, me and the wifey (justpassing) are looking at getting a carpet for our sunncamp invader 600. we have read many reviews and comments about carpets but none for sunncamp ones. has anyone had any experience or read any reviews on sunncamp carpets?

we have no issues with getting one from another manufacturer even if its bigger than we need but as sunncamp now do one for the invader and its the right size if we can find some reviews or advice we will get one from them.

any help would be much appreciated.

Paul & Clare

I seem to recall someone on a previous thread stating the opinion that the best carpets are Outwell's.

We own a vango carpet and an outwell one and outwell is far superior in quality and weight but sorry, I can't comment on the sunncamp ones.

I still prefer travel rugs, thicker than the tent carpets, can throw them in the washer, just take them outside and shake them when on site, if one gets damaged you can just change that and not have to change the whole carpet, fold up very small so can be used to fill in gaps when packing thus saving space.

yes, we are aware that the outwell ones are high quality and we are quite prepared to buy one, but as there is one made specifically for our tent we are bound to check them out

Huzband (PaulyT)  Im thinkin we should go for the Outwell as we have done the research on it for the past 3 months and we need it in the next 3 weeks! Im telling you on here as you will be gutted if you buy a sunncamp carpet with no reviews and find its rubbish!

Lets get an Outwell!! Pleeeeeeease!

Hold on there just one minute. Is this how you two communicate; via threads on websites?

Hi you two
Will you be happy with a carpet that does not fit correct that you may have to fold.you will not be able to cut it to size as it will fray .Why not consider one of the softex breathable carpets to go over your SIG they are thick and very comfy to walk on warm and long lasting when they get dirty take them out and hose them down and you can cut them to any-shape without fraying and they don't slip around on your SIG here is a good selection to choose from and if in doubt phone the company they are very helpfull. Link
Good luck with whatever you choose
Rex.

we have been out today and closely examined lots of carpets, most of them are made from the same percentage of materials. the outwell carpet felt exactly the same as the sunncamp one! but, the one for the invader 600 was too small!!??? so we ended up getting one for the paragon 600 instead.

rounded up my purchase by buying a footprint as well.  me and the wife are well chuffed!!

bring on easter!!

The outwell carpets don't fray.  You can cut them easily and the edge just stays clean cut as they are backed with plastic

I would highly recommend them, brilliant!

I bought an additional one and cut it to size for the bedroom pod
