I get really annoyed at the amount of requests for Sat Navs and Flat Screen TVs. Especially as one time I requested a wanted for an old PS2 or XBox as my sons had broken (I offered the broken one Freecycle and the offer ad went on right away) My wanted ad was totally refused by the mods, yet every day I see ads asking for things that are of very high value, like the other days - Wanted 32" or larger LCD or Plasma tv - must be working. Or the eejit that wanted a Tom Tom - Must have the latest maps. How very rude. I actually hate freecycle now. Its a good idea gone very bad due to clueless hippies moderating it.

I remember a few years ago i joined and i gave loads away via the wanted ads, majority were kids toys/buggy/cot etc stuff i no longer needed. There was never really anything i wanted on offer until once my sewing machine broke and put a wanted add on asking did anyone have an old sewing machine just basic stitches etc nothing fancy, it got took off and i got a curt email from the admin to say i need to put an offer on before i could have asked for anything!!!
The ironic thing was the admin woman was one who i had gave a cot and buggy too!!! i sent her a curt reply back saying the stuff i had given via the wanted ads myself should have more than justified my 1 wanted ad, she said it didn't work like that so i asked to be removed.

I can't be doing with all of the emails that you get so we too have removed ourselves , if I did go for something it would prob be someone just getting rid of junk anyway.
Tend to look in our local bargain pages if theres something that I need now. Or wait till peeps on here find the best bargains !!
