we picked up a monodome tent from halfords today for my daughter and she's out in the garden in it right now. She couldn't wait to get it up and get out there camping.

Deffo!! We are visiting friends this weekend, and instead of staying in our friends house we have all decided to camp in her huge backgarden, so much more of an adventure for the kids, also cant wait to wake up on easter sunday for the egg hunt trail we have planned for the little ones!

Just hope we get fine weather.............

I'm sure camping in your garden isn't as sad as getting new beds and sleeping bags and blowing them up in the middle of a Tuesday afternoon and lying there watching a movie!

That's what my son and I did yesterday. He had to go for his preschool innoculations and was mega upset with the "jaggy nurses"

I didn't go as far as dishing up the tea on our new roll up table though!

My 8 yr old daughter and I slept (again) in our Dandy which is up on the patio, we took the 2 puppies in with us as well as they'd never been in him. The wind caused Jack to woof quietly every now and again but Jess slept all night and Aimee (dd) would sleep in there every night if she could!

Put your tent up and have fun!!

Put our tent a small Kyham up last wkend and another 2 over the winter in our lounge diner. We had a great time. 9yr old Son watched film from the tent door with body in sleeping bag. We talk like we are on a campsite and everything i.e.Just going to washroom or put the whistling kettle on. Friends think we are mad. But 1 suggested we cooked our brekky outside next time and hubby says he will

I may well put a tent up in our garden next week.    I was thinking of going away, but kids want to do a couple of things nearer home.
