We have a phil n teds travel cot which is a bit narrower than the standard cot (though not quite as cosy as it rests on the floor). Bit pricey though but we travel a lot so felt it was a decent investment. Our daughter is 19 months and we hope to have more. I find a travel cot is useful as a play pen when putting the tent up etc and phil n teds has a sun shade which can also be used to keep it darker for early morning sunrise and daytime naps. Stil preferrer the graco but we were running out of space in the car and sick of lugging it around as it was quite heavy and cumbersome. If I didnt have room for any sort of cot, I would probably use a mat on the floor but the problem is when they get mobile! I like them caged in for safety sake!
