Hey all,

Does anyone know where i can pickup an Aerobed Active double relatively cheaply??  The reason i ask is that over the years me and OH have got fed up waking in the middle of the night with a half deflated airbed so we did a bit of research and found that the Aerobed Active got great reviews on here for comfort, but comfort seems to come at a rather high price.  The other reason we need a really good airbed for this season is that we just found out we are to be parents for the first time later this year and i want to ensure OH is as comfy as possible at night times during the summer otherwise she may want to put off camping this year altogether!!

Thanks all for any info you can send my way.

You could use the codes STAFF2207 when placing your order and that will give you a discount - other than that try eBay in case someone is selling one. Can't say i have ever seen them at 'discount' prices anywhere

We bought the Explorer Active as it was on half price offer and then got the discount on top - we paid about £54 for the double.

Hi Peter,

I don't know about the airbed, but congrats about becoming a dad!

I just wanted to say that I've got a 10month old and when my OH was pregnant it wouldn't have mattered if we had been sleeping straight on the ground. She was that knackered that she would drop off pretty much anywhere, anytime. One thing you might want to think about is that eventually she will be getting up to go to the loo A LOT so you might spend most of the night trying to get back to sleep as well. We have a Coleman airbed that is actually split into two halves that inflate individually - so if OH got up in the night it didn't disturb me (or vice-versa). Might be worth thinking about...

Cheers,
James

£64.99 Tesco direct...shame it wasnt last week you were asking as they were discounted to £51.99..I know cos I bought one.. considering you can order it for store pickup,so no delivery charge,I dont think thats a bad price, and one thing about buying from Tescos there is no quibble about refunds if there is a problem, unlike many online shops where you may have to wait for a week or 2 to have your money refunded...congraulations on the new camper you have made
