After all the delays getting the tent, we are finally all set to head off after work tonight for our first family camping trip!!

Will be a bit of hassle getting the car packed, and then we'll see how much of the videos about putting the tent up we can recall when we come to actually put it up for the first time...

Really looking forward to it! Weather looks fine too, if not exactly warm....

Putting it up is never a problem, its getting it back in the bag.

You only have to do one thing when camping.

Just called the campsite and the ground is nice and dry, but it is quite windy, so putting the tent up could be even more fun!

don't worry and take your time putting the tent up it's not a race and that way you and the other half won't end up having a row

It went well

Ground was nice and dry, weather was dry, and got warmer through the weekend until today was a roaster. Cold at nights, and as we had no heater it was a tad chilli prior to bedtime, but we had enough bags and extra blankets to keep evryone toasty at night (except my Mrs, who seems curiously able to remain cold in a 5 season goose down sleeping bag!! Lord knows how - seriously warm bags!!).

Tent was totally dry to take down, and we all got a nice bit of sun into the bargain!
