Please please help Im at a loss of what to do in relation to my nearly new Duel Fuel Campstoe 424.

The problem would appear to be with the PUMP KNOB which does not lock into place, also if I try to hold my finger over the hole in the pump knob and pump it this does not seem to work either it appears the tank is full of air. Hope this makes sence.

I have contacted the supplier who wont change it as it was just out of one year warrenty. I have also contacted coleman UK via e-mail on two occassions and they have not got back in touch. I have only used it twice so didnt really want to pay out for new one.

if the stove is just out of warranty I would be surprised if the pump had failed

It might be an idea to remove the filler cap and see if the pump is actually giving you pressure in the tank, perhaps safest to try this without fuel. Ensure that you are turning the pump knob far enough to engage the pump prior to trying to pressurise the tank.

more useful information on coleman stoves and lanterns can be found here

As weetabixface already said, if the pumping knob is not released by turning one turn anti clockwise, the pump will not be able to be used as it will not let air be pumped into the tank. It would be best to remove the unit from the tank assembly, and check why it is not releasing. It may be as simple as a stuck rubber washer.

I realise that I am probably repeating some of the above information, but these stoves are really simple, with not much that can go wrong. Hope you get the problem sorted.

Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.
