I cannot see why not.A tent is a tent,but,to stay in a better tent is simply better.If you are not happy camping in the tent you have now,then you will have a basic unhappy camping time.I would buy a better tent myself.

NO NO NO NO - you DON'T need another tent..........
you need at least 4 or 5!!! 
We have a Cabanon Mistral TT, Khyam Ontario 8, a flowery 2 man, a 3 man and the Licata 400 (which I have "forgotten" to tell hubby about!)
Plus a canvas drive away awning (does that count?!)
Currently looking at utility tents and I am being constantly drawn to frame tents!

................... well, that's what everyone keeps telling me 
What you REALLY need is a tent for every conceivable occasion - one night, 2 nights, a long weekend, a week, 2 weeks and double up for those that are fine weather tents and those that will stand up to everythng the elements throws at them. Also canvas suits some purposes, polyester others........................... get my drift????? Then you'll need a kitchen tent, toilet tent, day tent..............your OH will be glad you only want ONE more once he's read all these threads!!
