Hi , just gone back to a tent after having a folding camper for a couple of years , just wondering are most campsites happy for you to take a small trailer on site and do you generally have to pay for these or not?
We are a family of 4 and just purchased a large tent and think we will have to use our trailer with all our other stuff!
hi buttie i've never paid for my trailer yet!!! so you should not have problems i think there are some sites who charge but if they dont say then dont ask
i do know i need to make my trailer deeper but i need to get some angle iron welded on each corner or maybe some 2x2 in each corner internally and build up off that not sure wot to do and i canna weld either

You could maybe use some of that Dexion racking? That wouldnt take as much room up as 2x2, would be a lot stronger, and no weding either.
on some occasions, if space becomes tight on busy weekends, we've stood our small trailer behind the tent on it's number plate end, guying it with one rope against falling back onto it's wheels.. it takes up very little room stored that way..
When we ran out of space in our trailer (before we got the caravan) I had a 8' x 4' 5/8" ply wood sheet cut into 4 pieces that stood against the walls of the trailer and increased the side height by about 18". Once we arrived on site and put the tent up and removed all the clobber from the trailer the boards just folded into the main cavity.
