hi,

did you buy it on line or in store?

perhaps you could go to a tent shop where they have them on display and ask the sales person about the easiest way to get it up. They will have put them up before.

thats what we did and our 2nd attempt was slightly easier.

also, the more times you do it, the more little tips you'll find that make it better.

Thanks Soggyknees - I looked for a video too but none available...also tried youtube but nothing but thanks for looking.  I have emailed coleman for a bit of advice.....I think they'll say...stick to caravans!!!!!!!!

I definately think it's a case for the trades description act - I brought this one coz it looked a good size for us and said easy set up etc....wot a load of muts nuts!  My husband is an ex squaddie and he said he's put up hundreds of bloody tents but this one is impossible!

Thanks heathercbell - we will try it that way as I suggested that quietly last night!!!  Want to persist with the tent coz it looks great for us but really can't see how we will be able to put it up on a site with a 4year old and 10 month old to look after but hey we will try to master it!

What did the instructions say?

Looking at it I would think you would put in the three poles that go 'across' and raise it as a standard tunnel tent, and then put in the side poles that support the back?

Did you sort it in the end?
