LMAO

The only things in the cellar right now are some step ladders , animal travel boxes , and xmas decorations ( all in plastic lidded boxes) , and 2 submersible pumps for when it floods

Usually have the bikes in there too when we aren't using them much . Would like a fridge in there for beer / wine but it needs to be kept up off the floor . Used to use the camping fridge in there till it packed in ; got to see if it still works on gas , if it does it might just be the fuse .

It is a good place to keep drinks though cos it's so cold on the floor

We seem to have so much stuff that last year I put some large plastic tubs in loft to store it all in, the only thing is they're too heavy to lift down so we just leave the tubs up there and just take what we need each trip. We tend to shove the bits in those morrisons recycle shopping bags they're also easier to fit in the boot and roof box than plastic tubs. As for the tent, that goes in the loft and the poles in our wardrobe as they're too heavy to lug up in the loft.

They do it for me too when it rains

Although it was funny when the guy came to read the gas meter and I asked if he was sure he wanted to ; he changed his mind half way down the steps and saw the water lapping the bottom 2 . I did offer him some wellies , but he said no

So, after reading all the tips and hints, I 'll put the children in the heavy duty wheely bin in the shed, wife in the wardrobe or under the dining room table and the canvass can sleep in the bed with me....  No mice then!!!

This site is great, I can't go wrong!!!!

All my kit is currently stuffed in the garage but I can see me bringing it into the house and trying to hide it in the bottom of the wardrobe
