They arrived last week but i've been waiting for a break in the weather to try them out. Today was a little windy but i got them up with a little help (ok alot!) from my dad...

Bought them to cook, eat and just generally chill under when it's raining...

Very impressed with the tarp, once we'd got it up properly! seemed very strong and sturdy. Jury still out on the windbreak.

Just need to work out where to put the Nevada and if i can attach the tarp in some way?

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Thanks

thanks for posting the pics, I was going to order this tarp today.  Having looked at yours tho, am I right in thinking there is only one way to pitch it, only 2 eyelets?

Thanks

Yes there are only two eylets... I did buy extra poles and was going to use the loops in the corners.

I,m not entirely certain, but the Quecha tarp we got from Decathlon, if I remember correctly, has eyelets on the corners too. It is packed away under the seat of the Pennine so I cannot get at it at the moment, something to look at later. I,m sure someone else has easier access to one. Anyway, we found the tarp invaluable in France last summer, as you say, for chilling under.

Hi All.

I`m afraid I refuse to pay £50 for it. I like the idea but feel it is very expensive for what it is. I bought a tarp and some tent poles for a fraction of the price. It does the very same job. Just my opinion mind folks.

Martin.

Girlies would know more about these things but woudn't it be possible to purchase a length of tenting material(canvas or synthetic) and run a tarp up on a domestic sewing machine ?. You could then make eyelets with one of those gadgets available on eBay for a couple of quid. Seems it would be half the cost of a tailor-made tarp.
