I have about 15 Delta pegs which are excellent, but I understand that if the ground gets hard (we all know we are going to have a dry summer, eventually!) I would need rock pegs. Will I need one for every pegging point? This would be a lot but, if no other pegs would go in, I suppose I would.
if you get the ones with a green plastic top you can hammer then right into the ground so nothing that is going to rip your toe off is protruding. they have a hole in the green platisc bit that I thread a small amount of luminous guy rope through so there is an easily seen loop that I can hook my claw hammer through for extracting the peg. And remember, the best thing for whacking rock pegs in is a proper hammer, not a rubber mallet.

Hiya, I usually do, on all the pegging points. I use both the rock and hard ground pegs, so i have both at hand, So i may have a mixture of pegs depending on the particular spot were i am pegging out, does that make sense.
