51 plated PT Cruiser (answers to the name of Lilly) Inferno Red.

This year will be our first camping with Lilly, but have purchased a sizeable roof box so will hopefully be enough.
It does seem that I have spent the winter accumulating rather a lot of stuff, oh well, we'll find room.

Barry, will you be attending Party in The Park (PTTP) come August ?

Fraid not Gav, I think it clashes with a drag race at Shakespeare county Raceway where I'm the track announcer. We've always intended to go to UKC's PITP just never got round to it. If you're thinking of taking your back seats out of the cruiser, make sure you've had your weetabix mate..they're bloomin' heavy !

With the seats tumbled we fit chairs, a camping wardrobe, two camping cupboards, cooker, gas bottles, coolbox, beer, stacking box full of pots/pans/crockery etc. generator (when at carshows/racing) , bbq, clothes, Khyam XXL and Classic Annexe, all our clothes, food, did I mention beer ? Bedding and camp kitchen goes in the roofbox along with anything else we can think of ! Did I mention beer ?

We have an '04 Peugeot 807 - not camped with it yet though as we've only had it a month! (Oh the joys of being a childminder and actually needing the whole 8 seats every morning.)

I am sure it will do us proud though

The Chunksmobil is a Sorento.

Stacks of room for ever swelling camping gear and poochie.

Originally purchased for hitting the beach and slipways, but great for rough tracks/muddy fields, which looking at the weather forecast, is going to be very useful yet again.

Can be seen in my gallery.

Um... Cars are a bit of a weakness for me.
I have a habit of aquiring them... and rarely
are they something that would fit into the
'sensible' catagory..

Current 'stable':
Triumph Spitfire MKiv
Triumph Spitfire 1500
Volvo 480 Turbo
Volvo 480 TT Limited Edition
Jaguar XJ6

We're taking the little volvo turbo this weekend.

I always worry that 2 tonnes of Jag will sink if parked
in a field.

One day I will grow up and but a people carrier... NOT!

A Citroen Zxsara Picasso and a Nissan Skyline.  We only tend to camp in the Skyline if it is at a car event though.  Haven't camped in the Picasso yet but there are only 2 of us so shouldn't be a problem fitting it in.

We have a ford focus estate and still manage to fill a roof box and trailer. Mind you three kids take up all the back seats and the roof box tends to be full of there things - swingball, wetshoes, rackets, etc etc. If we didn't have to take the kids we would probably get it all in the car.

Until this week I had a Vauxhall Zafira - but it has been traded in after causing sooooo many troubles and been replaced by a Kia Picanto which has absolutely NO boot whatsoever.

Thankfully we also have a Citroen Zsara Picasso! DH will be using that to transport camping gear with the seats folded down and I'll be following in the little car with the three kids (who got the short straw there?). Suspect next year we will have to look at a trailer for it but just don't have the funds right now.
