Hi Carlos, hope it all goes well and the Argos set up works for you, re the campingaz double burner we have the one with the grill underneath and we have changed to a calor gas regulator (about five quid) and use this gas as it is more readily available.

We have the 'football' gas bottle (4.5kg) which is easy to transport.  Get one from a dump if you can, it will cost you about five quid or if you can't find one it will cost you about 30 quid for the bottle and 15 for the gas.

Hope you have a fab time!

Katie

Keep her warm, loads of cuddles, and even if you are cold if you both take to it you WILL buy a better set up and warmer bags etc.  Make sure you have beer/wine, a corkscrew and a lamp to gaze into each others eyes by (and a couple of hot water bottles in the bed about 20 minutes before you get in and move them about so the bags get warmed through) and I'm sure even if you are cold you will be fine .  It is all a learning experience

If you have the argos starter set, the sleeping bags will not be warm enough on their own at this time of year, take extra blankets or a duvet with you.

Carlos was already told they would be too cold (previous thread) me thinks he needs excuse for closer cuddles  but totally agree with Debbie, make sure you either have PJs, passion killers or something similar, and extra blankets/duvet/bag to put over/under you.  We don't know what you are using underneath but remember that an airbed will pick up the cold from the floor and will need some sort of insulation on top of it to try and protect you from it, some people use picnic blankets - we use a thermal fleece blanket and a spread out sleeping bag which does the job....but there is still condensation on the airbed in the morning so you need to air your bedding and turn your matress on its side to let it also air, same goes for self-inflating mats.

Take a flask and fill it with hot water before you go to bed - that way you can get a really quick cuppa in the morning before making those bacon sarnies - nothing worse than getting cold and not having instant access to hot water.

Good luck, let's all hope for good weather.

Wrap up warm and keep your cool! But most of all have fun.  I would agree with the others though plenty of blankets and insulation.  Too many cuddles and you may havie trouble with condensation.  Don't forget the fluffy socks!
