I too have had a delivery problem I ordered a 4 ft multi air-hockey/football table from an online store who delivered it but left outside the front of my house I have no gate and a low wall and it was clearly on view for everyone to see.   Only by chance had I popped back to pick up some things before going away for a couple of days did I see it spoke to the company who delivered it to be told it was policy to leave out the "front" if you aren't in.  Surely any imbecilic driver would have thought that to leave it right on the front of someones property they it would be taken, nearly a costly mistake on their part!!!!!

Off to Weymouth for 1st camping trip at 7.00 a,m tomorrow hope hubby likes the bike trailer set up!!!

The bell rang this morning and the postman asked me in heavily accented English to sign for a parcel. It took him five minutes to understand me when I refused to sign because the package was for a totally different name and address and I hate to think in which bush he subsequently chucked it.

Obviously the ability to read or speak English is no longer a requirement of the job.
