Can anyone tell me where to buy my tent? Decided on Vango Tigris but can't find a shop near me. Happy to purchase online just wondered if some shops were better than others? Also (and I realise this is probably a pretty dim question) do tents come with all the ropes and pins etc needed?
Congratualtions on your decision, I'm sure you'll love your new tent.
I have never bought a tent from a store online so I can't help you with that I'm afraid.
They do though usually come with all the ropes and pins etc. The only thing you will need to get are some decent tent pegs because most tents come with rubbish pegs.
Well done, now stay online and buy some decent pegs. The pegs with the tent will be nearly useless for guying the tent. A lot of people here recommend delta pegs, I have bought some as well, but have still to use them so cannot comment on them but they get a good report
I got 10 vango alloy pin pegs. Ashamed to say I have no idea what these are and if they're any good [laugh]. I need to buy some more bits so thought I'd visit a Blacks or similar once tent arrives and I get myself a bit more of a clue. I can pick up some more pegs then if mine are rubbish or need more.
Have spent the last two hours reading site reviews. Beyond excited!
just bought mine from there (the 800) - cheapest place I could find - just waiting on the carpet and extension now. although I got the tent from them via ebay I ordered the carpet and extension a couple of days earlier direct from the site - the tents here but the carpet and extension still havent turned up - a quick email though and they said they should be here by tuesday/wednesday
