Complete heaven compared to the Gelert utah we had last year!!

Really cosy and roomy, kids loved it.

used it the first time this weekend, and  it was fantastic!

Hi Kim,

Thats a great tent and the extension gives you a lovely covered area to sit in,or cook under.

Hi Kim

Hope you don't mind me crashing your post!

We've  just bought a Montana 6 and also got the front extention, plan to go away for the first time with it in a couple of weeks

We are pretty new to camping and I am stating to worry that the tent will be too big with the extention on for some camping sites!

Again sorry to crash but I would value your advice!

Wendy

We had the cooker and the table and chairs under the extention, also the wind was blowing from behind so under the extention or just out the front of it there was no wind! it was great as the sun was shining  in so sat out in the sun but out of the wind!!

lol we took the tarpoline that we put under the Gelert last year, and  it only just fitted under the sleeping area of the monty!!

I'm not sure about size for some sites, i know the site we just been to has large pitches if you  use electric or if  its non electric there not marked.

hiya,i wouldnt worry to much if were you.it only adds another 1.3m to the length of the tent as half the extention covers the tent.this takes the monty to 7.15m.
