We are off tomorrow for 3 days camping back to basics with no EHU, a fairly small tent (compared to our usual monster) on a site that only has 1 loo but allows campfires. OH thinks he is Ray Mears anyway as does eldest son (9) but I am used to taking trailer, fridge and all the luxuries I can think of. I am actually looking forward to it as the weather looks AMAZING so...fingers crossed...

we are off tomoz too, in our monty 6 no ehu basic pitch and facilities.

Us too are going non electric in July, but I'm sure to some I'll still be glamping-taking the Diablo, kitchen tent and all that goes with it Did consider buying a washing line!!!!

The site has 2 loo's but OH is still considering taking the portaloo At most there will be about 42 people on the site!!!!

It would be nice if we could take 1 car this year

Hubby and i went to a site middle of may with no electric and are we a rare breed of camper because we never have electric.Anyway site had one loo one shower it was lovely all right we dont have children ours have grown up but i think you will be ok the kids will love it.We are going to a site with campfires in the middle of june hubby thinks he is in the scouts again least we can keep warm,you never now what the weather will be like.

We just bought a coleman multifuel cooker and lamp so we can go back to non EHU.

We have never been glampers but with EHU we found we were buying gear that we really didnt need just because we could.

Simpler means less set up time and more chill time :)
