well i have to do 2/3 trips home when setting  up camp/decamping, but the campsite is only 40 mins away, i take with me the kids bikes, kids scooters, tent, poles, utility tent, camping wardrobex2 one for the tent one for the utility tent, these are suncamp and brill, also a wynster larder which doubles up as top for kettle, toaster, slow cooker and a camp table which has microwave one, another table for inside the tent, a picnic table and 4 stools, 4 chairs, 4 self inflating mats, about 6 picnic mats, 4 sleeping bags, 6 fleece blankets, and enough clothes to cloth all the kids twice over. cool box, all the kitchen stuff needed for 4 people and a box full of toys for the kids.

ok i do camp for long periods at a time, and the above and the outdoor games like frisbees, balls, cricket set, baseball bat, water guns etc etc is well used.

btw i have a zafria, obviously if only camping for a few nights then i only do 1 trip.

'Always take the weather with you'! ( if only we could take last weekends weather!)

-------------
It always rains on tents. Rainstorms will travel thousands of miles, against prevailing winds for the opportunity to rain on a tent.

well we do our best to take as little as poss but you know with 3 bairns the best laid plans gan aff tae glee
ending up with a space just about enough for an angular driving position
Which as per usual means that if I can get in the car we have forgot something
Last weekend we were off to loch long at ardgarten and low and behold the midges were out much enjoyed by us all as you know as well as I that that was exactly what we had forgot you all know the name of it its made by avon and is supposed to work wonders on the little blood suckers .
however even though i'd asked the wife to order some from the one who rings the doorbell she 'd not managed it as the wee wifey who used to come around has stopped doing it and anyway I hadnt told her what its called so how could she ( see its my fault again ) so tro cut a long story short can anyone out there supply me with the name of that avon stuff so I can search for another doorbell ringer (or is it possible to but direct from avon online) and get some before we set off once again to the great outdoors and have it set in a prominent place on the dash
happy camping one and all
