We are off next weekend with 3 other families for a well deserved camping break and we have agreed that one pair of families will cook for the whole group on the first night, and the second pair will do the cooking on day 2 (evening meal only).
Now, we could go with the tried and very much loved barbeque, with salad and crusty bread, however I fancy being a little more adventurous.....
We will have a barbeque, several gas cookers, and a fire pit (or 2) and I was thinking some pasta (tagliatelle) with chicken wrapped in parma, cooked in tin foil, on the bbq, perhaps some nice creamy cheesy white sauce with basil to cover it.....but not sure how to do garlic bread!!???
Does anyone have any hints or tips on how to do camping garlic bread please???
Also....I've heard there is a fab drink called the Pink Stuff which I'm told is ideal as a camping beverage, and being a girlie of good taste (ahem) and loving anything pink.....would anyone have the recipe please? I've a vat poised and ready for brewing......
Many thanks in anticipation...

I do garlic bread by cutting it into slices then cooking on the cadac griddle,The alternative would be to wrap in foil , places on bbq, and put lid on , possibly on warming rack. If you want to make the garlic bread from scratch , make some garlic butter up , and buy any bread you fancy , french stick ,ciabbata etc, . slice the bread and spread the butter ,if cooking as slices ,or slice nearly all the way through and insert garlic butter , wrap in foil and places on bbq. For variation you can use chillies, herbs, cheese, onion or anything else you fancy.
------------- Be seeing you!!

hi whitedove it is a outwell montana 6 with extension. It has 1 large pod with zip curtain in the middle, if curtain is closed each pod holds 3 people. You can also buy a kids pod where you drop down the left side pod and fit kids pod
I don't have the kids pod but copied and pasted to show you
there are loads of people on here with a monty who have pics of the inside.
Go to tent reviews top left hand corner and scroll till you get to outwell montana 6
their are loads of personal pics.
I totaly recomend the monty
