Honestly, stick with the outwell and it's steel poles. We had your tent and it was perfect to stay upright in VERY heavy wind. We saw a few of the fibreglass poles go bendy and collapse in the same wind.
The tent has a specific shape and you wont be able to replace the steel ones with fibreglass. Also as the tent is designed with the steel poles, it is likely that fibreglass ones wont hold it up!
I agree they can be pretty heavy, but soooo worth it when yours is the only one left standing.
