She is called Outwell Carolina 3 and she is already 2 metres tall! 17

I think a camping trip is required for June, just because we need to try the tent... 17

I wanted to ask, is it worth buying one of these footprint thingy?

I think we will go for the carpet as well, although I don't like the colour 17

I am so happy! If we had a garden I would be trying it out this very night!

Congratulations on your new baby. Hope it was an easy birth lol

A footprint is a good idea to protect the sig and keep it clean so easier when packing away.

But you dont need to buy the official footprint. A cheap tarp cut just a tiny bit smaller than the sig will do the job perfectly and save you money

Thanks every one for the messages! Parents and baby are well 17

Thanks for the tip about the tarp! I am not very skilled with these so will ask oh to do this: 17

I sooooo would like to sleep in it tonight! But I live in a flat, so no garden! And this weekend we are too busy 17

It will have to be the weekend after then! 17

The Carolina doesn't have any specific extension/sun canopy: I was also thinking of buying the Outwell Universal side canopy. But that will be for later, when the sun is really shining!

Oh was thrilled. He loved camping when we went but felt miserable, sitting in our 3-man pop up tent... Now we'll have plenty of room!

Is this normal to be so excited?

Bet you can't wait to wet the babys head, are you having a christening party too . lol

Its extremely easy to cut a tarp to size. a normal household scissors will do it .

it is normal to be this excited, have loads of fun with your new baby.

my familly and i get that excited every time we go for a camping trip.

we never used a footprint at first, but soon discovered it would be really useful to use one after a very fun, wet and muddy camping trip. our whole tent was manky after this occasion, just used some tarp though.

Congratulations on the new baby. You told us she is 2m tall, but how much did she weigh at birth? 17

Hehe beefysmum, I think we're going to wet the baby's head next weekend, as I need to go to Bristol: we will save on hotel money like this (any excuse...)

Thanks for the tarp tip. I will be cutting and 'tarping' this weekend then! I wouldn't want my baby to have a muddy bottom!

cmicky, I remember the excitment prior to a camping trip when I was a little girl. But for some funny reason, I am even more excited now, but also slightly concerned that this type my beloved daddy won't with me to put up the tent 17 So if you see 2 people (one of them swearing loudly in French) trying to put up a tent the wrong way, then that's us, and please come and help us 17

JK98, the baby was quite heavy to carry, 19.9kg at birth. But we were told that it has a sturdy 'frame' 17

I would love naming my tent Carolina (I give names to everything) but my cousin is called Caroline: not sure she would appreciate! 17
