As I said before I do this only very infrequently and yes its a risk, (i have a feedback score of 10% and close to the 200 mark) and usually its COC only. Lets be honest as well Ebay fees and paypal fees are starting to get a bit on the high side....
You dont completely avoid fees as you still pay your listing fees. I can honestly say that as a seller & buyer with a feedback score of 100% from 850 transactions I've never been ripped off & obviously never diddled anyone else either - as others have said buyer beware & also seller beware - Ebay has its rules but as all offers are made via Ebays own messaging system, they are aware of buying & selling going on outside of the online auction.
getting back to the original topic, that siberian red tent can be bought new now for under 100 pounds. not that i would recommend wasting money on it though
Not a wise buy for anyone in my opinion. It compares with the Jesolo tents which are absolutely garbage. Went through 2 of them in one week a couple of years back. I just hope the buyer gets a good look at it before parting with cash. (if it sells that is)
Also have a look at the guylines. Not enough for a tent of that size. First heavy wind and the tent would be wrecked.
