Hi, I am new to camping and will be making my first trip this year. I have a question about the electric hook up points supplied at campsites. How do you connect to them, is it by normal 13 amp house plugs or by the round blue 3 pin connector(don't know exact name)?

No you have to buy a proper camping electirc hook up wth the round end thing and this is the bit that plugs into the site hookup. make sure you get one with and RCD on it.

SOme on ebay look cheap but do not have this on them.

You are better off going to a proper camping shop. Go Outdoors at the moment have a 3 ocket one for £49. which is quite cheap.
