Is it right that Gelert have rebranded as Hi-Gear?  I always thought Gelert was a "top draw" make and Hi-Gear was low value bargain branded stuff??

Or am I just completely wrong??!!

I saw them in Morrisons, Llansamlet, Swansea, this afternoon. Must have had around 20 on the shelves. Worth the trip from Cardiff if you are that interested but suggest you phone the store first to get one put away for you.

Follow the link on the same page as the tent offer to Morrisons other offers. There is a double inflatable mattress with built in air pump for £10, makes Aldi look expensive!

OH darn why did I read this!!!...I will just have to go and have a look tomorrow (morrisons is only 5 mins away!)....looks like a bargain to me!

RachieB, Morrisons is actually on the Morfa site by the swans /Ospreys stadium , in case your not familiar with Swansea. Its Landore not Llansamlet.

Gelert make several own brands...Hi-Gear for Go Outdoors, Scaefell Rock (sp??) for Asda and other supermarkets and some of the better Halfords items. They don't use their latest designs as own brands(the Cadiz has been around for a while) but the quality is meant to be the same.

Well I went to my local M and checked out the last tent on the shelf! I was very tempted but decided I just couldnt afford it at the moment and walked away. They had loads of air beds , torches and rucksacks too but I resisted . I figured the money I have saved not buying another tent will pay for a trip for me and the kids in the school hols17..... My parents have just got me membership to the camping and caravan club for my birthday and I have spent the whole morning reading the big sites book17!!
