My whole point was: would it wash off? You answered that thanks. The suggestion of the ultra violet pen was in case if it did - you had a fall back if it was found - because it has indeed been stolen.

Sorry if it seemed a 'silly suggestion' but your car paint obviously isn't a deterrant is it and if they do manage to get it off you may actually be able to ID your tent.

Well if I was a thief, which I am not haha, it would have worked to deter me. You must be completely gutted. It seems so unfair. The only thing I wondered about was if the paint was visible in the dark when they nicked them. Takes some balls to drop 4 tents and cart them off if you are in plain view. How much is cctv? Only asking cos £3000 is a lot to sacrifice for the non-resale of the display tents. You could get some dummy cameras and a load of signs saying "you are being videod". The other thing I thought of was making it more difficult to get the tents over whatever perimeter you have. Oh I am really sorry this has happened to you.

hehe I just googled security cameras and this website popped up, not sure if it is any use but check out the gadgets you can buy! Anyone fancy an armoured landrover for the more raucus Haven sites?
