I really want one but only if comfy. My sister has said she will cut and sew the carpet for our bedroom pods so I want to buy her one as well. She was complaining about not being able to sit up in bed last time she camped.

I've bought 2 and we're taking them to Scotland tomorrow!

Haven't tried them yet - they're still packaged up - but will report back to the troops when I am back in early July (as we're going to Norfolk for a week in a cottage straight after Scotland!)

No!!! I really didn't want to look at that. I thought I had finally reached the end of the list of things I want for camping and now I see something to help me read in bed. Mind you even better would be an inflatable pillow that is actually pillow sized as I don't mind reading lying on my side but I do need a pillow.

In the 70's you used to be able to buy airbeds that you put into that shape like the blue and red noes from Argos

Betterware do an adjustable back support - it's a metal framed thing that folds flat £15 though - sorry can't do links

Wondawedges were a success. It was nice to be able to schlomp around inside the tent without having to sit on the camping chairs (which are great but can get a bit fidgety in them after a while).

They will come in VERY handy in general life, e.g. for concerts and taking on walks etc, as I find sitting on the ground usually quite uncomfortable (hip problems).

Only downsides are that (1) they took AGES to blow up even with my massive lung capacity! You really have to bite the valve quite hard to be able to get even a little air in.

2. They won't fold down to their original size now and are randomly stuffed into a cupboard now rather haphazardly!

3. My bum still got very sore after a while of sitting on the floor (y'know, where your bum bones dig into the ground....if that makes sense!).

But they were definitely a good buy and it was nice to be able to mooch around on the floor of the tent without the restriction that camping chairs force on you!

Mine's on order, I posted about them the other day. I'm having it sent to work so I hope it arrives in the next couple of weeks otherwise the place will be locked up for the holidays. Read good things about them and Alphonso DL has one and made comments. I bought it so I can carry out my fave pastime - reading in bed when camping.
