Glad you're managing to get away - hope you have a great time and your mystery pain disappears as quickly as it came - maybe a pulled muscle?

Hope you have a great time, we stayed there last year, great views, there was a proper tipi on the hill behind the camp site, added to the atmosphere. Bit of a long walk though.

Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.

Hey Stevosmummy, which site do you use at Castlerigg, the Hall or the Farm? We're pondering on Castlerigg Hall site, but not too sure 17

Hi Stevosmummy. We're off in a few hours time. Going to try the Hall. Will put a UKCampsite poster up, so if you're on the same site on Friday, come over & introduce yourselves - we'll be in the Cabanon Julie (pic in gallery) 17
