Hello everyone

We pitched our tent in the garden and spent a couple of nights in it at the weekend.  I'm yet to get a ground sheet but will do before we go camping in July.  The problem that I have is when I've gone to empty the tent and pack it back up again, red ants have got inside the bedroom inners and are everywhere along with their eggs.  They've also gone inside all the tubes of the table and the chairs.

Question:  Is it  ok to use the usual ant powder on tent inners and has anyone else had experience of this?

Hello - 1st post here!

We had the same problem at the weekend.....millions of the little blighters!

Because we were only in the garden, we got the chickens in to feast on them - not quite sure how to tackle the problem when camping "proper"

And no, I don't think we can take the chickens with us, although the kids would love it!

I wonder if anyone has thought of making a sort of undersheet with non-toxic anti-ant stuff in it,  that you could put under the groundsheet? (Maybe I should copyright that one........)
