I love the honesty of this site. No nonsense,good solid advice. Especially when you get both sides of the coin so to speak. My favourite site on tinternet and then some.

I have to say that without the good folks on this site I doubt I would have had the guts to go solo camping after chucking out OH! My little boy and I have just come back from a few lovely days camping in Shropshire (torrential rain included!) and I'm off again tomorrow!
The advice and good tips are excellent and everyone is so friendly, indeed it does reflect on the majority of campers out there and the bonhomie of the pursuit.

I agree, thanks everyone who posts for all the valuable advice. I have now got a safe rather than a potentially lethal EHU following advice on here.
I am about to go on trip 4 this w/e and am in fits of excitement as a new camping shop has opened near work - do you think I have got the bug?

Want to know what I really appreciate about this site ? The lack of *textspeak*...something I just can't stand. You get the odd *lol* which is something I can put up with.

Just to pinch a quote from this months Camping magazine 'its about friendly like-minded' people. This is so true, both on here and at the campsites we have been to, bit like dog walkers (we became new dog owners last year) everyone says hello.
