I love the honesty of this site. No nonsense,good solid advice. Especially when you get both sides of the coin so to speak. My favourite site on tinternet and then some.

Came back to camping last year and made a few mistakes. Found this site early this year and realized how friendly and honest the advice given on this forum is. I have learned (and relearned) a lot. There are a lot of genuine people on here giving honest help and advice, something you don't find on other sites. Like an earlier poster said - this seems to be typical of people you meet when camping.

So, a big thanks, from a born-again camper, to all those old hands (and some new) who make this site forum what it is

I have to say that without the good folks on this site I doubt I would have had the guts to go solo camping after chucking out OH!  My little boy and I have just come back from a few lovely days camping in Shropshire (torrential rain included!) and I'm off again tomorrow!

The advice and good tips are excellent and everyone is so friendly, indeed it does reflect on the majority of campers out there and the bonhomie of the pursuit.

I agree, thanks everyone who posts for all the valuable advice. I have now got a safe rather than a potentially lethal EHU following advice on here.

I am about to go on trip 4 this w/e and am in fits of excitement as a new camping shop has opened near work - do you think I have got the bug? 17

Want to know what I really appreciate about this site ? The lack of *textspeak*...something I just can't stand. You get the odd *lol* which is something I can put up with.
