It's changed again!!! It's so annoying we looked last night and they had warned of rain, so we decided no camping this weekend. Just looked again now and it is not showing rain anymore! Now do we stay or go???decisions decisions

Just go and make the best of it!

i dont trust the tv weather forecast. i use the met office website, and you can change location to get a forecast for where you are going not just for where you live.

i used this site at christmas when we went to the black country and it said it was going to be cloudy til 10pm then clear skies and the temp would drop and sure enough the skies cleared at the appointed time.

its very rare the met office site lets me down.

but as others have said, decide when you're going and just go. ignore the weather, rain can be fun!

Have you tried Metcheck.com, I like this one. Usually near the mark with their forecasts.

LOL trust me our tent was amazing last year! Honestly didn't expect it to last more than 24hrs in the super heavy rain and gale force winds last July in Dorset. But it did us proud! We even awoke to fine ourselves in middle of a giant 2"deep puddle but we were still nice and dry in the tent with the SIG.

We decided not to go today after looking at the online forecasts - thunder storms didn't sound great! We were only going to go for one night anyway so will hang on and hope it sunny next weekend. We have our usual 10 days in august coming up but like the odd weekend escape!
