Do polycotton tents take a long time to dry out?

I'm considering a Wolf Lake 5 but after having to take our polyester tent down in torrential rain and then re-erect it at home to dry it out I am concerned that doing the same with a polycotton would be a bit of a nightmare?

Just the shear weight of it when it is wet seems it could cause problems and then how long would it need to stay dry/sunny for when drying it out to get it properly dry? Out polyester tent dried fully in about 3 hours but would a polycotton take considerably longer?

Thanks
Chris

you would need to dry it out on the frame as they can shrink they do dry quick though my canvas drys really quick i take a large heavy duty garden sack incase i have to bring it home wet.

plus canvas or poly err i knoe what i would want anyway we are having a heatwave lol.

Polycotton drys as quick as polyester.  Don't know if shrinkage is a problem as mine has attached poles so it has to be erected on it's frame.  I would recommend drying on the frame anyway as this speeds up the drying process.  Yes when it's hot or cold the benefits of ploycotton come into their own.
