I like MSN weather for forecasts. Can get a forecst for abroad and I have found it to be fairly accurate.

Another one here for Metcheck, it's usually right for me.

We were camping in Somerset last weekend and Metcheck was shockingly bad, I don't usually bother with forecasts but I watched it all over the weekend (the wonders of a phone with an internet connection!) and it was wrong pretty well most of the time!
The most amusing time being when it was hissing down outside with thunder and lightening and according to the forecast we should have been having sun!

Whilst camping up in Eskdale in May, the BBC got it more or less right each day - I noticed this because the campsite printed out both charts and put them on the wall side by side.
Saying that though it must be hard to get it right - yesterday we had thunder and lightening but no rain, a couple of miles up the road they had a heavy downpour as well

Going to download all the weather Apps onto my phone so I can check all the sites well as long as I can get a signal!! Might even take a pine cone and some seaweed.
Although I do prefer to pick the site that gives me the best weather lol

I use all three, but on balance think Met Office is probably most accurate (and the best to use on mobile phones).

I think the BBC are so scared of getting bad weather wrong, like they did with the hurricane, that they give an impression of doom and gloom and always predict the worst possible weather rather than the most likely weather for an area. After all nobody is going to moan if they forecast rain and it turns out sunny are they?
I use netweather.tv and find they are very good.
FB
The BBC don't forecast weather - their weather forecasters are actually employed by the Met Office and other forecasts are provided by the Met Office for the BBC.
In my experience, Metcheck is wildly inaccurate. The best forecasters will tell you when the weather is too unpredictable to forecast accurately, and will NEVER forecast more than 5 days in advance. I wonder how Metcheck seem to be able to forecast for 14 days??

I have done that too!! lol
Has anyone tried Accuweather? I do like how they do their site, but are they any good? For instance this weekend they aren't saying it's as bad as others, which one should I believe? Can't believe that it would vary so much from one to the other!!
I have Accuweather on my G phone, and I must admit it seems quite accurate, defo thumbs up from me...![[:o)]](https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/chatter/forum_images/smiley20.gif) ![[:o)]](https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/chatter/forum_images/smiley20.gif) ![[:o)]](https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/chatter/forum_images/smiley20.gif)
