I think a lot of it is down to luck, also because the tent is used, sometimes its more helpful to put pictures of the actual tent, as opposed to the catalogue picture, particularly the damaged area.  

The thing is you are obviously trying to recoup some of your costs however its sometimes worth having a look around to see what other tents are available for around the price you are looking for, iykwim. just to see what you are competing against.

Then there is the thing that personally I would rather spend a little bit extra on a new tent with guarantee as a 2nd hand, and especially if it has already got damage however minor.

Have you also tried the likes of the free ads and gumtree, you might have more success there than on ebay.

I've just had a look at your listing and would just comment that often a photo of a damaged aresa can allay people's fears.  Can you dig out the inner tent and add a photo of the damage?

That said, I think luck plays a big part on e-bay.

Looks a lot of tent for the money to me, and should be a good buy for someone.

Actually, re sending by courier.....here's an idea of a quote....

The whole package 30kg, 80cm x 48cm x 42cm would be £29 + vat with DHL, booked via Parcel2Go.

Or BETTER, would be to send the tent and poles as 2 separate packages as it does away with the weight surcharge...example 20kg, 80cm  x 30cm x 30cm for the tent material parts £6.89 + vat (again with DHL). and another package of 10kg, 80cm x 18cm x 12xm ALSO £6.89+ vat. So the whole lot would be less than £14 + vat.

Just something to think about and would help you reach a wider audience!
