Sold the Idaho XL on fleebay 2 days ago for £351, this was a replacement for a leaky one & has never been out of the bag, the couple who got it only saw it with a minute to go & won, they went camoing once in a cheapo & it was a nightmare so hopefully they will start to enjoy it now.
We bought the original when they first came out & got a really good price match for it so even though it went cheap we made a profit.

Now the good news we only had to put £30 to it to get A Monty 6 & full porch , YIPPEEEEEEEEEEE.

Pats that chuffed we booked 8 nights Herefrom this Thursday so if you are down that way come & say hello, you wont miss us, brand new tent & big stupid grins spread across our fizzogs.

Do you know if the campsite near the zoo in Rotterdam is still going, spent a whole summer there once, lived in Holland on & off for 2 1/2 years & it was cheaper than a flat or pension.

Cant you advertise it in UK & add postage or get someone you know to sell it.

Unfortunately the tent is too heavy to post. When we go back to the UK next we will take it with us and get someone to sell it for us.

Regarding the Campsite near the zoo, there are quite a few over that way, we are staying at one this weekend. place called koningshof.

It's a shame about that. From what I've seen, the Dutch prefer caravanning if the amount of them over here is anything to go by. When we camped in Germany the vast majority of 'campers' were Dutch and they all had caravans, not one of them had a tent, just the Brits and Germans. I wonder why that is? Holland is ideal for camping given that it's so flat!

Funny that the Dutch seem to have preference for caravans as they have such beautiful well made tents.

During the main summer season we do see a lot of dutch camping in tents but when we first went this year in April we were the only tent on site, May was the same but June started to see more each weekend we went away.

But there is definately more caravans and a lot of them seam to pick one campsite for the season and leave it there.

Only the 2 of us plus the dog most of the time now, they were all going to come when we bought it, so its too big, early & late season it gets cold with only 2 bodies in it so we use our old little Hartford M ( love that tent)& with Pats medical problems we struggle to get it up sometimes.

The Montana strikes a happy medium, not too big but room for any of the kids if they want to join us.

Our first Idaho was one of the very first ones & had a leak round the clear panels but from reports this seams (pun)to have been sorted.

Loved the huge porch that on the tent thats one thing we will miss but dont worry sueg2 its still a good tent & rock solid when up, enjoy yours & get the most out of it,if there was a problem with Outwells I wouldnt have bought another to go with the 2 we still have.

Thanks Cliff n Pat, you have reassured me a little.  Hopefully Rochford6 had a 'bad one' if not then we might as well enjoy it before it disintergrates!!!!  Or should I sell now while it hasn't been used.......mmm.
