Hiya just got my new Kampa Khazi delivered, anyway the grey support for the bucket insert has a lip which I presume fits over the bucket, the problem with mine is that there is a ridge in the middle which would suggest that there should be a matching slot in the bucket but with mine there is no slot? Should there be and do you actually need the grey support bit?

The support bits actually sits inside the the toilet part not in the in bucket part if that make sense. I lost mine and have been using it without with no problems.
Just a word of caution. Before going to bed remove the bucket lid. You may not be fully awake during the night and could forget to remove it before you go!
The plastic support sits round the frame, not the bucket and is there just to add a little more strength. I'm a 'larger lady' and have found it to be very strong and sturdy! Highly recomended!

We've had one of these for a while and it's a good bit of kit - especially when it's 3 am, pouring with rain and a howling gale and the loos are the other side of the site.
Hiya thanks, looked at the picture but thought it went over the bucket! Doh!
I did too! Thanks for posting this thread - I've been sort of balancing the grey bit over the bucket lip instead of underneath the bucket. Never even occurred to me that it went underneath it!!! I feel a bit stupid now
We only got ours last week and took it away at the weekend. I think it's now probably #1 on my best buys list! It's brilliant not having to get into my coat and shoes at 3am to trudge across a cold field!
I whole heartedly agree, a bit of camping kit that I would not go without now.
I really dont think you need to worry about the extra plastic support unless there is someone really heavy within your camp. I am no lightweight myself and feel comfy and stable on it (well that is dependent on wine intake at the time!!!)

Is there a lid for the waste bucket, or do you go to empty it with everything on show?
Lol, yes there is definiely a lid....and it needs to be removed before you use it....
On that point luckily the lid is sunk into the bucket so there is about 2cms of room before overflowing!
