Hi,
We've not used a Remorska but have used an electric slow cooker, which is brilliant especially when the weathers getting cooler.Great for stews, curries, chilli, casseroles.Put it on in the morning before you go out and come back to lovely hot tasty meal.

Do you mean This

Not used it personally but it is low wattage so should be fine in the tent on EHU as long as you dont have the kettle and a heater going at the same time.

They used to be all the rage and the 'in thing' not all that long ago. Well about 8yrs or so back. Everyone was raving about them and Lakeland were selling out all the time.

I've never used one but they must be good as so many sold and they aren't cheap (not too many on eBay either)

I suppose they were the Cadac and Cobb of a few years back.

I use a Remoska at home. My concern about using it in a tent or kitchen tent would be where to safely put that extremely hot lid (where the electric heating element is housed)when you take it off the pan without burning or melting something or someone.

Hello, I used my  Remoska in the awning of my caravan with no problems.  They consume low wattage so will not take out the hook up unless you are boiling kettles etc at the same time.  Yes, you do have to be careful about the lid as it gets very hot and shoud be kept well away from the tent walls, kids and pets.  I put mine down on a table with a trivet or you can turn them upside down.  A Remoska will make a fair a bit of condensation so a utility tent would be the ideal set up, I think.

Don't be put off from using the Remoska though, it's economical, much quicker than a slow cooker, you can fry, roast and bake, nothing sticks to the bottom of the pan and your food will be super tasty and you won't need to keep stirring the food when cooking.
