Aha!
At first I thought we were discussing a man emptying his porta potti into the hedge - but as I read on I realised it was a child's potty, presumably with just a wee in it?
Personally I don't see anything wrong with that - but I do think he should do it near his own tent, not someone elses.
When one takes into account all the other things that may have wee'ed there - foxes, rabbits, badgers, sparrows, thrushes etc, I don't think a couple of child's wees is either here or there.
But if it was his Porta potti complete with chunky bits and soggy paper - then I would definately have complained to him most forcefully and reported him to site management.
This happened to us at a festival a couple of years ago, although we didn't see the perpetrator in action. We stuck a large sign by it saying DANGER - HUMAN EXCREMENT and told the clean up crew, who bravely sorted it and then put up a BEWARE - CONTAMINATION sign. It didn't happen again - they must have got the message. There was really no excuse as there were CD points on the field.
