We started off in a tt and then got a caravan. We are now on our 3rd caravan and we did consider getting a tent rather than another caravan but we soon realised that tenting was not for us. We can pull up, put the steadies down and be set up within 10 minutes.
We are off to Scotland in 20 days (not that i'm counting lol) and we will leave about 2am on the Friday night/Saturday morning and probably arrive about 9am and we can just go to bed for the day until the rest of the family arrive on the train :) When we went in the tt 2 years ago it took us all day to set up in the pouring rain :(
Why don't you tent in the good weather and keep your caravan for the winter month's?
